Larkspur
The Larkspur plant is easily recognizable thanks to its airy, towering spikes of beautiful blossoms. While the most commonly found hue of these soaring beauties is blue, they also can be found in violet, white, red, yellow, and pink varieties. At full maturity, the traditional species of this plant can reach up to nine feet or more, while more modern versions will reach a maximum height of around four feet.
A member of the Ranunculaceae family, this flower's regal spikes are long-lasting, even after they've been cut. The plant can be found in annuals, biennials, and perennials. Native to the Northern Hemisphere, this graceful plant can be referred to as Delphinium, Lark's Claw, Knight's Spur, Consolida Ajacis, and Lark's Heel.
