Acer Saccharinum is hardy in planting zones 3-9. The growth rate is one of the fastest in the maple family. This tree can reach maturity 60-80 feet tall and 40-60 feet wide. These plants are in wet areas where nothing else will live. The tree gets its name from the leaves; they are silvery-white on the backside with light green on top.
Its thick leaves make a beautiful shade tree and can cut cooling costs. These leaves are three to six inches wide and have five separate lobes. Can live in the poorest of soils and tolerate some flooding periods.

Open your plants and inspect the same day received. We offer 3 days to report any problems with your order. Bare root plants need to be planted within 2-3 days of receiving unless weather-related problems prohibit planting. Store in a cool place and keep roots moist and covered with plastic until they can be planted. Water for the first week daily after planting.
