With a hardy zone of 4-9, the Redbud can grow into a mature height of 20 to 30 feet. The Redbud Seedlings (Cercis Canadensis) provides small to medium-sized shrubs, which produce green leaves that are heart-shaped. The Redbud seedlings display a pea-shaped flower of purple or pink color. Redbud seedlings are best potted in summer in a half-shaded location. This seedling is mostly planted in the Eastern U.S.
