Its petite little leaves appear almost like miniature fern fronds. Even the moss color resembles the famously bright green of most fern plants.
Fern moss is a beautiful plant that will work well along your garden paths and walkways. It recovers quickly from foot traffic, which differs from some of the more delicate mosses. The species is also ideal for filling bare patches of lawn where the grass does not seem to grow. In this application, it prevents the earth from eroding.
Thuidium Delicatulum is a lovely ground cover plant that withstands wetter soil conditions. After you plant it, keep an eye on soil moisture as it strengthens. After that, you will pay it no mind–it is fully self-sustainable. You can even plant it on fallen logs or stumps in your natural areas without any trouble.
