Sweet gum trees are one of North America's most attractive and easy-to-groove types, and they grow relatively quickly in various environments. Scientifically known as Liquidambar styraciflua, they are well known for their beautiful shape, usually seeing them grow to around 75 feet in a yard and more than 120 feet in the wild.
