Spring Beauty Will Awaken Your Senses in the Late Winter
The flowers of Claytonia virginica are small and delicate, with five white or light pink petals and yellow, five-pointed, star-shaped centers. The leaves of this plant are spoon-shaped and grow in a lovely rosette pattern.
The blossoms have a sweet, delicate scent with hints of honey and vanilla. It's a very subtle fragrance that's still lovely and delightful.

Caring for Spring Beauty Flowers
Spring Beauty plants are easy to care for and hardy. They're drought-resistant, disease-resistant, and heat-tolerant.
To keep them looking great, water Spring Beauty deeply but infrequently, and keep a one-inch thick layer of mulch around the base of your plants to help seal in the moisture. In the spring, you can prune back any dead or damaged stems, and in the fall, cut the plants back to the ground to help promote new growth in the spring.
